Two Generations of Legends
A Queen and a Band of Boys
for modern day cowboys, by country music industry insiders.
highlighting a legend who’s still “kicking butt”
Everyone needs to start somewhere. For us, that was Shania Twain.
@shaniatwain A core memory moment in Dublin 🥹🥰 #ontour #letsgogirls
Shania Twain was one of the biggest names in country music throughout the 90's, and her recent resurgence is nothing short of spectacular! Over the last three calendar years, Shania has performed some-70 headlining shows, averaging 12,000+ tickets and pulling in a whopping $1.3M per performance.
Personally, having seen her live over 20 years ago, I'm not surprised to see her taking back her crown as one of the leading ladies of country music touring in the post-pandemic era. The energy she brought to the stage, hell -- the whole arena, was absolutely electric.
“Let’s kick some butt!” - Shania Twain
I'll never forget her yelling "LET'S KICK SOME BUTT" right before launching into some of her biggest hits like "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" and "That Don't Impress Me Much."
While her numbers are great, we are only seeing her on limited runs outside of her residency at the Bakkt Theatre in Las Vegas (which will begin again in August), begging the question — will we see her back on the road in 2025?.
On the flip side of the coin…
If you're on Tik Tok or Instagram, you may have seen a recent viral video come out from these guys, Ole 60. Their song "smoke & a light" has generated more buzz in the last couple of months than some of the industry leaders have been able to create.

With a sound that evokes strong emotion and meaningful lyrics to match, it's no wonder this song resonated with younger fans who were introduced to country music by the likes of Zach Bryan, Wyatt Flores, or a Treaty Oak Revival. Don't be mistaken, however, the vocal power and unique sound of these boys will resonate with the older country crowd as well.
Ole 60, seemingly overnight, went from a rather soft touring schedule to one that’s taking these guys from coast to coast thanks in no small part to their virality and a new relationship with United Talent Agency. We think UTA was a good match for Ole 60, as their "off of center" sound meshes well with some of the other talent options available within the firm. While UTA's country roster isn't home to many of the biggest names in country music, it's still strong -- including a number of acts who also recently found their way onto the scene from social media such as Dylan Gossett and Oliver Anthony.
With high production quality across both their audio and video channels, we expect these guys to continue to grab the eyes and ears of the younger generation and expect the resurgence of younger ticket buyers will follow suit.
